ABOUT

I am an anthropologist and filmmaker based in Berlin. My work investigates emergent forms of visual, computational and economic media and the worlds they produce. Recent projects have dealt with the socio-technical history of AI, planetary computational infrastructures, and financial markets as forms of media.

My films and collaborations have been shown internationally at Ars Electronica, Linz; Documenta 15, Kassel; Transmediale, Berlin; Trauma Bar & Kino, Berlin; Museum für Fotografie, Berlin; Kunstmuseum Bonn; B3 Festival of the Moving Image, Frankfurt a. M.; and others.

I work across the cultural sector in research, strategy, and communications for clients and collaborators such as Technical University Berlin, New Practice in Art and Technology, ARD, Office Impart, CTM Festival, Never Sleep, University College London and others and am currently teaching at the Academy of Fine Art Leipzig.

I hold an interdisciplinary MA in Design and Computation from the Technical University and University of the Arts Berlin, where I studied under Hito Steyerl, and completed a BA in Cultural Anthropology at Humboldt-University of Berlin and Queen Mary University of London.
